HCP AS CONSULTANT:
CABOT HOUSE at the Cabot Street YMCA, BEVERLY (69 units)
In this collaboration recently funded by DHCD in July 2019, Cabot House consists of 69 units: new production (24 units) and renovation (45 units), including studio apartments for individuals. The Cabot Y project has set aside units with Department of Developmental Services and Northeast ARC, as well as units designated for homeless adults. In Beverly, a special permit has been granted by the City. In 2018, the Cabot Street project was awarded a Federal Home Loan Bank award of $500,000, and local funding commitments include City of Beverly CPA, Affordable Housing Trust, and Beverly HOME funding.
CATALYST HOUSING, LYNN, MA (11 units)
HCP is working with The Haven Project to create studio apartments for homeless young adults (age 18-24) who have aged out of foster care. This will be in an existing building in downtown Lynn. The effort will be a supportive service model with services provided by The Haven Project. This effort is in the pre-development and design phase.
MIDDLE STREET, GLOUCESTER (53 units) & CABOT STREET, BEVERLY (65 units)
This is another YMCA project with HCP as a consultant. The Gloucester is a new development (53 units). Like Cabot Street, this project has set aside units with Department of Developmental Services and Northeast ARC, as well as units designated for homeless adults.
