A Proactive & Comprehensive Response

As the COVID-19 current health crisis unfolded, Harborlight Community Partners created protocols and program adjustments focused on the health and safety of residents and staff. Ensuring all our residences were and are protected we regularly disinfected common area surfaces, cancelled activities, and more.  For details, see the For Residents section of this response. Because we know that the families of residents were also impacted, we shared HCP-provided resident communication, as well as information regarding community and state resources and links to COVID-19 information.

Finally, because so many kindly sought ways to help, we provided a way for the community to reach out safely to mitigate the impact of isolation. Many adults and children joined our  #HCPNotAlone effort to keep residents connected and cared for.

It has been a time like no other, we are honored to serve and protect residents as we enter a re-opening phase.

HOW to HELP

#HCPNotAlone – Show you care!

Calling all kids, parents, anyone with a heart to participate in #HCPNotAlone

While Social Distancing is a must, it can also cause our seniors to feel the impact of isolation.

Please join us in reaching out in a safe and meaningful way to let them know they are not alone.

How? Have children draw pictures and/or write notes of hope, and a parent or guardian can upload via scan or jpg. In fact, or anyone can provide a message of hope and community to be shared with HCP seniors.

Artwork Submissions are closed. Click here to see the gallery.

Drawings will be printed and given to seniors in their apartments or shared via email for those who use it. Let’s make someone’s day!

We may even share these messages and drawings of hope on HCP social media – we all can use a lift right now (identified by first name only). (Please be sure to indicate in the form if you do NOT want you/your child’s artwork or message to be used in social media.)
